ELFEN LIED HAS RETURNED...not really

But you could call it a return. Lucy from Elfen lied will be featured in a very quickly made animation of mine, ABNORMALITY SIDE STORY 2. However she's not the only one who'll be featured in this animation.
Following up behind Lucy we have

'Misaka Mikoto' and 'Kuroko' from 'To Aru Kagaku No Railgun'
Alucard and Integra From 'Hellsing'

anyway I've been working on and off on this flash. So far I've had about 10 hours to work on this due to such a busy week.

Anyway I have never done a flash platformer a go until now. The good thing is that I know flash quite well...the bad thing is I suck balls at action scripting. (I understand quite a bit just not enough to make people go WOOOOW).

THE CONDUCTOR

A brand new series and for the first time its a live action series. Not only am I doing the effects for this one but I'm also Directing it. If you like super power fights than I'm sure you'll enjoy this one. If you like gore than I'm sure you'll like this. I haven't really got anything to show off just yet.

Now the reason why I'm uploading a VIDEO to newgrounds and not youtube is that the music is from the 'Neon Genesis Evangelion 2.22' episode, and knowing youtube they'll take off my video. So I know I'll get a load of complaints but I also know I'll get a lot of you guys who'll love it (I hope so that is).

The only thing I'm gonna show off is this animatic I did (a very quick one I made in 3 hours).

After a lot of thinking I've decided to close this animated feature of mine. It was meant for a short film contest but due to time frame I knew there was no way I could have it completed in time. So I've decided to close the project and try a new for this years contest.

THE BLANK PLANET

Due to the fact I'm fully loaded with Uni Assignments all my project have been put on hold. However I would like to show off a live action project I'm helping out in.
I am the Visual Effects Artist for the film. This is the first project I have ever worked on that will be seen on full BLUE RAY Quality. Which means my poor computer will be thrashed. We still haven't created a trailer to show off?

Hey guys just to keep it short I'm making an interactive live action series. I wanted to open the show with a Forest fly over but there are no heavy forest location in my area. I could hire a chopper and fly to the nearest forest but it'll take 40 minutes one way, and the price was looking unfriendly.

So I ended up trying to make a forest fly over in 3D Max. I've finished one shot and I'm kinda happy about it. I'm working on another shot (Preview found in the picture below). I'm not really taking this to seriously cuz I'm working on other stuff but I thought I'd share this.

Yep that's right making another one. This time more epic than the first. The reason I'm making this is to see how epic I can make something. The theme for this one is Raven (teen titans) vs Ricky. Who will win..well I ain't telling you, become a member of the 'Abnormality Group on facebook' :D

Abnormality Sidestory #01 - The Door

The plan was to get Abnormality Episode 2 done for my Uni assignment. But after sitting down and planning out how long and how much work I'd need to do to get episode 2 done. I came to release that there is just no way I can get it finished within the due date.

SO

I went off and started playing around with 3D max and was able to simulate something cool. From that cool simulation I was able to come up with a rather basic story that would only take less than a week to complete. So I got to work and was able to complete a side story OF Abnormality. Whats even better is it only took me 4 days to complete from start to finish.

Anyway way its ready to be uploaded. I'm just finalizing the website that the flash links to (for the extras).

But hope you'll enjoy it.

ABNORMALITY EPISODE 2 UPDATE

Recap:
Abnormality is the first 'Flash Series' to be available in a 3D Anyglyph format and (when available) will also be see on your home 3D Flat Screens.

Right now I'm hard at work trying to get Abnormality done or close to being done before I start up Uni. Its been hard because as I go along I've been turning the shots into 3D which can take some time. some people think you can cheat your way around doing the 3D Effect by using the same image and offsetting it. This is incorrect.

I've gotta go in and make one image for the left eye and another image for the right eye. Thats why this has taken longer than expected. Now I'm hoping this episode will get me some flash artists will to help out in the next episode cause at this rate, you'll only get a chance to see 2 episodes TOPS each year (I'm only free to work on a flash during the Major holidays).

ABNORMALITY EPISODE 2 DVD

I've given it a lot of thought and decided to make an Abnormality DVD which will have features like

'The Making'

Which will cover features like; Magic of 3D and Flash, Sound effects day, History of Abnormality, how the 3D effect was pulled off in flash, Music, and more

'Interview with the creators'
Subject says all

'Behind the Voices'
Will cover; recording day for Ms Dunk, Recording day for Chris

'Meet the real Characters'
unlike 'interview with the creators', Its more like the day we planned episode 2...oh how fun

This dvd MAY be free to download. It will be a zipped ISO file.

SPEAKING OF DVD...I slapped a teeny tiny sample video covering a VERY SMALL and quick run down of how the 3D Environments where pulled off.

Good news everyone's. Abnormality is getting close to done. This is proving to be a HUGE challenge as I'm bring Abnormality into 2 kinds of viewings. Not only will you be able to view Abnormality as your normal 2D Flash Video. But you will also get a 3D Anaglyph format one as well which will be released on youtube 1 day after newgrounds gets it. From here on out Abnormality will have a Anaglyph version for your viewing ;).

Now I did a few tests which you can check out on my youtube account. but for now here's an example.
