Once again I'm telling you guys more about Abnormality. The Plan was to release Abnormality on the 10th...which in this case is today (for me). But due to the quality of the flash I've under estimated the release date. Sadly this flash will be released late next month at the rate I'm going. I've decided to cut some corners to speed the production up.

I am also in need of some animators that could help do a few shots (For more information go down to the animators wanted section).

I've decided to show off what I've made so far...that being said it still has quite a bit of work to go. Sound effects and all hasn't been fully completed yet and even most of the draws still need to be completed (like a face or lips).

ANIMATORS WANTED

Due to the quality of the film I'll be sending over some elements (like a lens flare and character designs). Also this will be treated like a collab. I'll send over the voice file for the animator to work on. Now because the scene is set in a room that has been prebuilt in a 3d Program the animator will have to send me some information on the angle they have chosen.

It will also help if I was able to speak directly to the animator via Skype. anyone interested please send me a PM.

ABNORMALITY EPISODE 2 UPDATE

I'm working as hard and as fast as I can to get this up asap. I'm aiming at releasing this on the 10th of Jan 2010. But I can't make any promises. However I'm using a new technique in both animating and drawing to make it easier and stuff.

BTW 'Avatar' is probs the best movie EVAR =3

I've been hard at work on this animation Trying my best to get it out before I start up Uni again next year. Reason why its taking so long is cause I'm really pushing the limits of my animating skills by using;
-3D Max
-After Effects
-Photoshop
-Various Plug-ins for 3D max like Vray and FumeFXs

We don't see any energy balls being fired or people flying in the sky at high speeds or cars being tossed at people just yet. But we do get to see some powers being used by accident and someone using his powers to kill someone else but I'll save that information for when the episode is done and up.

Finally I've managed the time to finish this short film. I would just keep opening the file and going...ah to lazy and closing it again, so that's why this one took some time to make. Not much I guess I've slapped some other flashes into the extras to snazz it up a bit.

I'm now getting back on track with this one. Using 3D Max, Photoshop and After effects. This one may take some time to complete but not to long. I'm really pushing the limits of my skill in this one. Not much to say I don't want to spoil it but stay tuned cuz I'll be posting some previews and stuff shortly.

Speed Animate

Is a new series that started here in newgrounds. But because a lot of you don't quite like the idea of videos being on newgrounds the series has made its way to Craptube (youtube). Now I just wonna say Youtube YES is a good site but its run by the worlds biggest snot bags.

What Would You Do?

No Flash update this time

A short 2 minute story of a guy on a massive adventure to seek the answer. to "If I was a zombie would you kill me?". Okay not really. Have you ever been asked this question. Chances are you haven't. But what if you where?. What would you think. and would you till the guy what you thought?.

This feature short was shot in less then an hour. Props and make up where used to test out what they look like on screen. Sound Effects where taken from HL2 and small effects where added. The music featured in this presentation is from the creator him self (me).

ABNORMALITY Episode 2 Update

QUICK RUNDOWN ON THE STORY
About 3 guys who get super powers here are the Characters and abilities
Jeremy = fly, heal and fire energy out of his hands.
Chris = Manipulate and Generate Smoke, Smoke can absorb and create objects. He can turn his entire body into this smoke so nothing can tough him.
Ricky= Shield, Slow Heal, Telekinesis.
This has a story that will keep everyone in the dark but slowly bring the audience into the light and with loads of exploding buildings and super power fights...just not as comical as the fights on DBZ.

Currently undergoing production. This is also the first flash of mine where I test my knowledge of Action Script by chucking in loads of movie controls and a Menu that operates almost entirely on Action Script. The Reason why I'm doing that instead of working on Abnormality itself is cause my Tablet is broken and I've ordered a brand new one which will be due in 4 days.

Episode Run Down
on the last episode we had a rather boring introduction with an opening credits that ran for 3 minutes which is way to long. The reason why I did that was because I'm making this series as if its one long continuous movie (so there will be no more opening credits just credits playing as the episode runs).
In episode 2, the 3 guys begin to discover their abilities. Their friendships stay strong but one of them is finds that living life is just not enough and has the urge for blood.

Extra information
Every time Jeremy (Co Director) and I tell the this story to people everyone falls in love with it. SO I've decided to get my ass down and work on this series. Jeremy and I have Season 1 and season 2 all written out and well plan on ending the series with a DVD Movie.

MusicBot is currently under going some maintenance and rendering will commence later this week. This will be the first of many soon to come videos in a 3D. 'Music Is an epic thing' will also be released in 3D.

Musicbot: Technologic (Update)

Production for MusicBot will recommence on the release of 'Pass the ball'. Musicbot: Technologic will be released in 2 version as well.
The released date is not yet fully confirmed but I am aiming to release this Christmas. If not really early next year.

'Pass The Ball' - Side animation

Is a short little side animation I'm working on. It will be released later on this week if not early next week. Not really a storyline to this one but something fun to watch. It was inspired by a 'Uni Class' exercise I worked on.

CORALINE

This is a movie that I really REALLY enjoyed. Anyone who likes animations and wants to have a brake from all the Sci-Fi movies go and see Coraline its an awesome movie. It was this movie which inspired me to make my own 3D Short.

SNB NEWZ

Well its been a while since I've posted a blog and thought why not. Just to let you all know I've moved out of home. I'm renting an apartment just outside the Brisbane City (Australia). Also I went and watched Harry Potter yesterday and the movie wasn't that bad. It was a breath of fresh air and the Visual where insane. Dispite every girl making a sound when the 'New Moon' Trailer was on. The movie with a good story line just told so BADLY.

The Epic Decision

I've been working on this for the past few hours and its coming along nicely. Just to let you know its a very random super powers fight with a lazy storyline but one you'll enjoy.

hmmm...well I haven't worked on this one for quite some time. I've gotten my hands on V-Ray (a rendering plugin) and I'm planning on using it for this 3D animation

Well I've been teaching myself how to model heads in 3D max in hopes to make a 3D short with people some time soon. I'm also helping out in the VFXs for a short film called 'Project 33'

YES I should go to youtube. YES this is a place for art only and stuff.
BUT
What I mean by that is Videos OF animations of some kind. Now for those who have seen my work such as my latest one 'Music Is An Epic Thing'. That is a video but put in flash, Also my Video 'MusicBot: Harder, Better, Faster' again it was released on newgrounds months before youtube (I really hate youtube).

Reason for hating youtube (you can skip this part for it has nothing to do with the blog)
-Uploaded videos that I owned. account got deleted for I uploaded a video of me playing my own song THAT I WROTE and they said it was stolen. This has happened 3 times that is why I'm now upload shitty videos to youtube and the good stuff here.

Now think. Every video goes through a judging phase just like the flash Portal. So there will be good videos and no crappy random video blogs or some crap that you see on youtube (like the friggen Rick Roll)

FLASH UPDATE

On other news I'm currently working on 2 animations. One is called 'The Epic Decision' and the other is 'Evolution of newgrounds'. Here is some details of each one of them

'The Epic Decision'
a short animation of a guy asking a girl out. time freezes when she starts to think if she should go. Her good side says yes and her bad side says no. then they both just brake down in an Fast, Epic DBZ style superpowers fight.
As stupid as this maybe I wanted to create a superpowers fight but couldn't think of a story short enough to go with it so this is all I could do. I has some After Effects in it to give it the extra kick but is one hell of fight. I'm about %40 done

Evolution Of Newgrounds
Due to the fact people loved 'Music is an Epic Thing'. I've started another after effects video (just for newgrounds) that have some really awesome effects. The song is from the movie Hancock. This one is hard to explain but The starting will sure surprise all people the minute you hit play.
I'll have more updates on that on my next FrontPage Blog ;)
